This position is part of Novanta’s Corporate and Shared Services global teams.

Novanta’s Corporate and Shared Services teamsplay an important role in executing the company’s strategic mission and operations.

Included in Corporate and Shared Services are the business functions including Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Development and Corporate Marketing.

The Corporate and Shared Services teamswork closely with all Novanta business units to support operating initiatives contributing to the organization’s financial success.

Summary This job is responsible for payment run creation in multiple company ERP systems, upload payment files to online banking and resolve related inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities Prepare and issue payments on daily basis for multiple Novanta companies Upload payment files to bank Process ad hoc payments Download bank statements from online banking portal Resolve bank inquiries if needed Follow corporate accounting policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance Assist with special projects as required Assist with SOX audits – preparation of documentation for internal and external Auditors Required Experience, Education, Skills, Trainingand Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting Oracle or SAP ERP system experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus Advanced skills with excel, Word and MS Office Able to work on own initiative, high level of work quality and attention to details Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others from multiple locations Travel Requirements NONEPhysical Requirements NONENovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
