We are looking for an Infrastructure Expert , who will   manage firewall configurations, operational virtual machines, and well-supported infrastructure for ongoing BI/DWH projects in 2025.

Details : * Start: 01/2025 * End Date: 06/2025 (Full-time contract with prolongation) * Work type: Full Remote * Work schedule: Full-time * Languages: Fluent in English * Technology: Firewall Management, VM Management, Linux, Windows, SQL (Advanced) * Skill area: Infrastructure Management * Task focus: Managing firewall rules, virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure changes for a distributed BI/DWH project.

Project Information: * Scope: Distributed across two IT services locations (Bonn, Prague), supported by external experts across Europe.

* System Description: Historic BI/DWH system with technologies such as Oracle, Informatica, Cognos, Tableau, and Java.

Skills and Technologies: Must Have: * Expertise in Network Management and Infrastructure.

* Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.

* Basic understanding of Databases and SQL.

* Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Have: * Familiarity with legacy BI/DWH systems and tools such as Oracle, Informatica, Cognos, and Tableau.

Responsibilities : * Request and extend firewall rules as needed, ensuring security and functionality.

* Manage virtual machines, including provisioning virtual clients for team members.

* Provide configuration management support and prepare requests for infrastructure changes.

* Handle user access management tasks.

* Support the project management team with infrastructure-related needs.
