Job Overview We are growing our Prague based Wo T development team, and we’re looking for a Game Developer to work on new and exciting features for our groundbreaking MMO title World of Tanks, which has over 100 million players worldwide.

As a Game Developer you’ll work closely with the other client-server developers and will be responsible for implementing, debugging, and refining core gameplay features.

We will expect you to take technical responsibility over smaller parts of the game or specific components.

To be successful, you will need to be a generalist programmer with strong Python or C++ programming skills who is passionate about game development, team coordination and working in collaborative multicultural environment.

Reports to Engineering Manager What will you do? Write high-quality, efficient code in both Python and C++.

Contribute to architectural design and code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions.

Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impede project delivery.

Develop and implement innovative tools or methodologies to streamline development processes and increase efficiency.

Collaborate closely with the technical director to align technical strategies with project goals and objectives.

Actively transfer knowledge and skills to less experienced team members to foster growth and development.

The ideal candidate should have: 5+ years Python or C++ programming experience.

Interest in client-server architecture.

Willingness to learn and extend its knowledge and inspire others around to do the same.

Strong communication skills in English.

Passion for game development.

What additional skills will help you stand out? Proven record of at least one delivered AAA project.

Team leadership experience, mentoring, guiding and work allocation.

Excellent knowledge of modern design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
