Job Description Position : Country HR Manager Organization Function : HR Manager Country : Czech Republic Location : Cheb / Kynsperk Supervisor : HR Business Partner PCA BU Context The Business Unit Power Distribution Cables & Accessories is providing unique innovative Cable & Accessories solutions which support the world’s electrification & environmental challenges The BU is mainly specialised in production of cable accessories for Low, Medium, High Voltage and its main customers are (local and worldwide acting) Utilities, oil & gas suppliers, OEM’s and end users. The Business Unit consists of different entities in Czech Republic, more precisely in Kynsperk & Cheb (close to the German border). The HR function is member of the Site Management Committee in CZ and its main purpose is to coordinate all HR related activities within the Plant and logistic site in line with the HR Strategy of PCABU and Nexans and to ensure compliance with all legal labour aspects and Group rules. Purpose. Areas of responsibility Strategy & Management Contribute to Business Strategy and deploy the HR Strategy & HR Annual Plan Design and implement the site HR Organization, act as a leader/manager for the HR department Implement and ensure HR-KPI and perform HR reporting, forecast, analysis and benchmarking Coordinate HR matters during business transformation (financial, organizational, social, legal, people impact analysis) Talent Supply Develop, adapt and implement sourcing strategy and practices in line with Group Policies and Group decisions. Manage job descriptions and support managers in developing them Lead the yearly recruitment plan. Coordinate validation of open position requests Lead candidate interviews, propose short list and support site managers in the final selection Define & negotiate the pay package for new hires, and coordinate contract management Develop and implement induction process and ensure the follow up Performance Management and Comp & Ben Translate, and deploy the performance management process in line with Group Policies (performance appraisal, mid-year review,...) and coach Managers accordingly. Coordinate and follow up the objectives setting and cascading process, ensuring they are aligned. Coordinate and follow up the yearly salary reviews in line with performance. Ensure the yearly C&B budget is respected. Implement the (Group) job grading for all positions (Group and sector compliance). Define and implement Comp & Ben structure according to Group policy & market Leadership & Talent Development Lead local SPID-process. Deploy competence models, coordinate and follow up the competencies/skills gap analysis for the site (competence management) Define and implement the training & development process, organize trainings. Support managers in the individual development interview process, ensure that all employees have an appropriate development plan and follow their realization Coach/support the managers in people management and advise them in all people related matters Work Environment, Employment Relationship & Social Relations Act as a trust person for employees Be responsible for internal communication with employees regarding to HR related matters Develop & implement complaint, discipline and conflict management, coach managers for this. Lead together with Plant Manager or General Manager individual and collective bargaining, labor agreements negotiation (as well internal as external). Develop, organize employee satisfaction survey design, communication, result analysis and action plan definition, in line with Group HR Policy. HR Administration Efficiency & Payroll Ensure the compliance with social and legal legislation Develop & ensure standards and guidelines for personnel administration, time Management & Payroll Manage the payrolling (on time in an accurate way) Develop, implement the benefits & Pension Administration approach & guidelines in line with Group Policies Deploy HRIS within the plant. Comply with Group and legal Rules en procedures Respect and implement Group rules and procedures regarding Ethics, antitrust, and internal control procedures; related to the perimeter. Respect the action plan and timeline concerning the ethics program of the Group and take the lead in organizing and following up the trainings and certificates. Respect the rules regarding Health, Safety & environment. Lead the wellbeing-program of the company together with the H&S Manager. Expected results People development, talent identification, succession planning, talent retention Employee Engagement, increased performance, less business interruptions because of lack of talents. Correct Payroll & administration, Compliance with social legislation and Group guidelines Healthy social climate (employee satisfaction) Position sizing Company size around 100 employees in Czech Republic for 2021. To be increased by end of 2022. Mistakes in Payroll, faults in application/interpretation of social law can have serious consequences on short & long term (penalties social inspection, strikes,...) Bad HR policies can lead to high turnover of talent, production/sales loss,... Required skills and qualifications Master degree (economics, psychology, law, preferably with extra degree in HRM) Knowledge Czech Social Legislation Knowledge software package: excel, Word, Powerpoint, Successfactors, payrolling system (OkBase) Languages: Native Czech, Fluent in English At least 7 years of experience in HR (industrial company, experience in Production or Logistics environment) Negotiation skills, leadership skills, Assertive, communication skills, accurate, result oriented, integer. Strong personality with self-confidence, able to defend the HR strategy and to find compromisess
