About the role: The role requires practical experience and in-depth network engineering skills.

The aim of the role is to provide FNZ with an in-house network expert.

Candidates require knowledge in network design fundamentals, superior skills in network routing, switching, firewalling and load balancing is essential along with excellent network diagnosis.

CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.

Experience in configuration and management of Cisco switches.

Experience in configuration and management of Firewall operation on platforms such as Check Point , Forti Gate and Forcepoint.

Experience of F5 Big-IP LTM/GTMBasic OS knowledge of Windows and Linux servers Common Design topologies for layer 2 / layer 3 services Knowledge of OSPF and BGP design and operational management Experience with Nexus product line Experience of SDN NSX-T Environment Main Requirements: CCNA/CCNP Network Certification or Relevant Experience Proven track record of delivering projects and complex change Checkpoint or F5 Certifications would be highly advantageous but not essential Extensive and proven experience in one or some of the below technologies Cisco Routing and Switching – Essential Checkpoint Firewalls versions R80/R81 – Essential Experience with Cisco Nexus product lines- Desirable Fortinet Fotigate Next Generation Firewalls – Desirable Forcepoint/Stonegate Next Generation Firewall – Desirable F5 LTM and GTM Experience - Desirable VMWare NSX-T – Highly Desirable Rancid or relevant Configuration Backup Tools Monitoring and management tools with a working knowledge of Linux and windows.
