Job description We are seeking a senior GL Accountant who would be supporting an SSC operating in Prague.
Key responsibilities: Actively participates in and leads various ad-hoc projects.
Regularly reviews balance sheets and profit and loss (P&L) accounts.
Assists the Senior Manager in creating quarterly balance sheet analytics.
Reviews monthly account reconciliations.
Ensures proper reconciliation of accounts.
Assists team members with queries related to subledgers, analyzes P&L and balance sheet movements, and collaborates with business finance.
Supports the General Ledger team during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Collaborates on expense reporting and accruals.
Actively assists with internal and external audits.
Assists new team members with accounting training.
Requirements Education in accounting At least 4 years of Financial/ Management Accountant exerience Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX is an advantage Knowledge of all GL processes (balance sheet and P&L with variance analysis)Experience within an international environment is an advantage Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French Knowledge of SAP and Blackline is an advantage Benefits Flexible working hours5 weeks of vacation3 sick days Meal Vouchers Home office Cafeteria 1 000 CZK/m Supporting further professional education - ACCALanguage courses Refreshment at the workplace Referral bonus Pension Fund Contribution Discount on company's goods and products
