Field: Medical Devices Company size: Global Company Location: Prague   For our client, a global medical devices company, we are currently seeking an Accounting Lead.

This role involves partnering with business and functional teams to drive operations by providing insightful financial advice.

The position is a one-year contract.

Main Responsibilities: Serve as a key contributor in monthly close processes, manage accrual preparation, reclassifications, account reconciliations and variance analysis Conduct balance sheet reviews, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data Manage local statutory financial records and financial statements preparation Manage and coordinate internal and external audits  Manage entity’s tax compliance, responsible for CIT calculation and filing, manage VAT reporting, communication with authorities Manage matters related to Transfer Pricing Reporting to ČSÚ, ČNB, INTRASTAT, packaging & WEEE, others Cooperation with internal SSC, act as a main local point of contact, working jointly on process improvements Creation of strong partnership with commercial team, support them in various matters Support commercial leadership team on individual initiatives to drive changes (strategic or operations) Work collaboratively across functional teams, support them to achieve compliance with internal policies as well as adherence with local legislation  Responsible for implementation of procedures resulting from new corporate and local accounting and finance guidance, develop continuous process improvement initiatives Skillset: 5+ years of accounting experience on a similar position in international organization University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Fluent in Czech and English Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes Strong knowledge of local tax legislation (CIT, VAT, Transfer pricing) Experience in financial statements preparation and audits coordination Attention to detail and accuracy Strong work ethic, task-oriented, reliable, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team Are you interested in this position?
